About

Sarah Linzey

Elephants have good ears for listening.

Nice to meet you and thank you for viewing my site.

I have 12 years experience as a Clinical and Case Management Supervisor,  trained to level 4 (advanced) with a specialism in working with staff from neurodiverse backgrounds.  Clinical Supervision is a reflective process, where learning and development come through reflecting on experience.

My regulatory body is British Psychological Society (BPS) and I am also a member of British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management (BABICM).  My clients cohort over the past 12 years have come from the fields of medicine, emergency services, counsellors, therapists and service managers.

I originally trained as a nurse and in 2006 retrained in psychology and mental health.  I have developed a particular interest in neurodiversity.  I have worked for the NHS and in a government forensic secure unit.  More recently, I worked in the voluntary sector in management developing and setting up services, this honed my people skills and as a Manager and Leader with an open mind, you are learning from your team every day.

Through my passion for travelling and nursing in India,  beyond the vibrancy, noise and colour this experience helped me to see life from a global perspective and this paradigm has stayed with me, guided me and influenced me to this date.
